Aviation requires meteorological expert knowledge: UBIMET brings its expertise to the table as a member of the “Flight Operations Support Task Force.”
In several committees, the airlines’ umbrella organization, the “International Air Transport Association,” prepares best practice examples for the aviation industry. The “Flight Operations Task Force” deals with meteorology in aviation, in particular. This results in recommendations for regulatory bodies, among others the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
