Carbrook Golf Club

At Carbrook Golf Club we have been using the UBIMET product now for 12 months. There are two areas that we specifically find beneficial – the first being a daily weather report that we send to 5 of our management team. This report also gives us a 3 day outlook which has proven surprisingly accurate. This helps enormously with our forecasting and also alerts us to the possibility of bad weather. 

The second area that I would highly recommend is the lightning alert. When a lightning strike is detected within a radius of our Club we have 5 of the management team alerted by email and sms. This provides us with the ability to then monitor the situation and make a decision on whether to evacuate the course or not, both for the safety of our staff and golfers. This is highly beneficial from a WH&S (workplace health and safety) standpoint and allows us to be pro-active  and in control of a dangerous situation, rather than re-active.

As a medium sized Club we have received great value and it is now a important element in our operations. I would highly recommend other Clubs considering the UBIMET product.
