Wüstenrot Group and leading Weather Service UBIMET extend Partnership
Wüstenrot is a Central European financial group with approximately 2,400 employees. It serves more than 2.1 million customers in Austria, Croatia and Slovakia in the field of savings, financing, provisioning and insurance.
For several years, Wüstenrot Insurance has been using UBIMET’s Severe Weather Warnings to minimize damage prior to severe weather and the Claims Information System to validate claims.

Are you OK? – The next step to satisfied customers and automated claims processing.
In spring 2020 Wüstenrot has introduced another UBIMET product to its customers. The “Are you OK?” Message, is sent to customers cell phones after a storm in their region has occurred. Thereby Wüstenrot creates additional positive touchpoints with its customers and takes another step towards automated claims processing by including a link to their online claims system. The number of customers, receiving UBIMET’s Severe Weather Warnings and “Are you OK?” Messages, will be increased significantly.
